RALEIGH, NC — French/West/Vaughan has expanded into Detroit with the acquisition of The Millerschin Group, a mobility and transportation-focused PR and marketing firm.

Millerschin is an eight-person firm whose clients include Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America, Eaton, LG Energy Solution and SMAC Corporation.

President Erin Millerschin, who founded the firm in 2000, and COO John Millerschin will retain their positions while working in partnership with FWV. The agency will continue to operate under its existing brand.

"We are so excited to be partnering with Erin and John and their outstanding team at TMG,” said FWV Chairman and CEO Rick French. “I’ve been looking for an opportunity to plant the FWV flag in the Motor City for more than a decade, but it had to be the right fit, with like-minded people. TMG has an outstanding reputation in the mobility and B2B sectors, both of which we view as growth opportunities for the agency, especially with so many automotive manufacturers and first-tier suppliers having already established significant operations in the South.”

Millerschin joins four other agencies that became part of FWV through acquistions. The others are New York lifestyle boutique AMP3 PR; Boston outdoor lifestyle agency CGPR; FWV Fetching, a pet and veterinary specialist firm in Tampa; and Los Angeles-based film company Prix Productions.
