WASHINGTON — Gina Cherwin has joined DDC Public Affairs as chief operating and people officer after a decade-long career at MikeWorldWide.

In the newly created role, Cherwin will manage day-to-day operations of DDC, with focuses on enhancing the firm’s employee experience and delivering results for clients.

Cherwin brings considerable experience to the role, having served as MWW’s COO for much of the past year and the agency’s chief people officer before that. Earlier in her career, Cherwin worked in politics for organizations, serving in director roles at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Hillary Clinton for President.
