MUMBAI—Corporate and financial public relations specialist Adfactors PR, India’s largest public relations, has set up a new Sri Lanka office in Colombo. This is Adfactors’ third office outside India, after Dubai and Singapore.

The new company, Adfactors Public Relations Lanka, will offer communications services to Sri Lanka-based businesses, both domestic and international. Rezani Aziz, a Sri Lankan national, will spearhead the new operation as CEO. Aziz was formerly the head of corporate affairs at Standard Chartered Bank and the COO of Strategic Alliance PR, an affiliate of Burson-Marsteller, in Sri Lanka.

According to Madan Bahal, co-founder and managing director of Adfactors PR, “The intense economic activity in Sri Lanka will have a direct correlation with demand for competent communications services. As a multi-specialty firm with expertise in sectors such as banking and financial services, infrastructure, transportation, energy and natural resources, we will provide counsel to Sri Lankan, Indian and multinational businesses operating in this beautiful island nation.”
