NEW YORK—Stryker-Munley Group, an integrated public relations and marketing communication agency, has opened three new offices: in Silicon Valley, Tampa Bay and New Jersey. The firm has added Tim Cox, founder of ZingPR, who is now president of Stryker-Munley Group Silicon Valley, which will serve clients in the high-tech, biotech, agtech and edtech sectors. SMG also signed an agreement with Cheryl Klufio, founder of RightlySaid Communications, in St. Petersburg, Fla., and added an office in Somerville, NJ, dedicated to the visual side of communications. Dan LaMountain of LaMountain Design is now president of Stryker-Munley Group NJ.
WASHINGTON, DC—Beekeeper Group, a DC-based public affairs and advocacy firm, has acquired Alexandria, Va-based public relations and marketing firm Pivot Point Communications. The acquisition will expand Beekeeper Group’s expertise in media relations, earned media, branding and integrated campaigns. Pivot Point Communications was founded in 2009 by Vanessa French and Casey Kincheloe, who will join Beekeeper Group’s leadership team.
