NEW YORK — Felicia Blow has assumed her new role as chair of PRSA. Blow currently serves as associate VP for development at the historically Black institution, Hampton University. Among her first moves as chair was appointing Chuck Wallington, executive VP and chief marketing & communications officer at Cone Health, and Chris Kuechenmeister, a senior VP of communications at PepsiCo, as senior counsel to the PRSA board. As chair, Blow’s focusses will include member growth, increased involvement and engagement with PRSA’s programs and services and fully embracing DE&I as a business imperative and expanding the organization’s alliances and partnerships.

NEW YORK— MikeWorldWide is accepting applications for its Digital Acceleration Program. In this program, 10 entry-level participants will be selected for a paid, 12-week and 360-degree digital immersion experience. The application to participate is available to current students and recent graduates on the agency's website until 11:59 pm ET on Friday, February 11.

NEW YORK — Stagwell’s PRophet, which predicts earned media interest, sentiment and spread before a story is pitched, released a pay-as-you-go subscription option, providing new individual users immediate access to the platform. Through the new pay-as-you-go model, individuals will be able to complete the monthly transaction online using a credit card or through their Venmo account. PRophet is the first company of its kind to process user subscriptions via the secure, modern, mobile payment service.

CHICAGO — The Chicago chapter of the PRSA has elected MSL marketing director Natasha Vuppuluri as its 2022 president. Also elected were Naomi Adams Bata, VP of communications for the Financial Health Network and former leader of PRSA Memphis, who will be serving as the 2022 president-elect. Vuppuluri takes the reigns from Christie Zielinski, who remains on the executive committee as immediate past president.
