CANNES—AMEC, the International Association for Measurement & Evaluation of Communication, will provide an advisory service for the research and measurement categories of the PR Lions awards, part of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. AMEC will provide advisors to help firms improve their entries through a new data and measurement advisory scheme focusing on two categories: Research, Data Analytics & Insight Generation and PR Excellence in Effectiveness.

BERLIN—Independent PR firm group Travel Lifestyle Network has added three new members: Girafe Communications in Quebec, which will represent the network in Canada’s French-speaking markets; B4TComm, which has offices in both Brazil and Chile; and Travel Studio in Mexico. LOS ANGELES—Government affairs firm Ek & Sunkin has added a new partner, Matt Klink, owner of public affairs and political consulting firm Klink Campaigns. The new firm, Ek Sunkin & Klink, will offer clients a full suite of public affairs, public relations and government advocacy services.

NEW YORK—Executive search firm Heyman Associates has promoted Jessamyn Katz and TR Straub, both to the position of senior vice president. Katz, who opened the firm’s San Francisco office three years ago, will be responsible for continuing to build the firm’s technology practice. Straub will lead the government relations and public affairs practice, splitting his time between New York and Washington, DC. Both will also continue to handle searches across industries and geographical regions.
