NEW YORK—The late deadline for the 2024 Innovation SABRE Awards has been extended until Wednesday October 11, due to the original deadline falling on the Indigenous People’s Day/Columbus Day holiday. Entries may be submitted until midnight Pacific Time on Wednesday without any additional late fee,

In addition, PRovoke Media has announced the final deadline for the competition—which will incur additional late fees—of Friday October 20.\

The 2024 competition is the 12th edition of the Innovation SABREs, which started life as the IN2 SABREs, and which recognize a wide range of content creation, as well as the application of new technologies and the use of data and analytics.

“While the Gold SABRE Awards recognize the smart strategic thinking that goes into developing a successful public relations campaign, the Innovation SABREs are focused on the creative and tactical elements of public relations, the technical excellence necessary to capture the attention of the 21st century audience,” says Paul Holmes, who chairs the SABRE judges.

Changes over the past two years include new categories that recognize work that is already employing artificial intelligence in planning and execution, as well as a range of new categories for agencies (from Data-Driven Agency of the Year to Purpose-Driven Agency of the Year) and individuals (from DE&I Professional of the Year to Iconoclast of the Year).
