NEW YORK — Jodi Brooks, most recently chair of Burson-Marsteller’s US tech practice, has joined Finn Partners to head that agency’s technology division — the firm’s largest.

Brooks brings 17 years of experience in the sector to the role. While at Burson-Marsteller, Brooks managed campaigns for brands such as Oracle, HP, Fitbit and Zebra Technologies.

She replaces Sabrina Horn, who has led the practice since 2015. Horn becomes a Finn Partners senior advisor.

Before Burson-Marsteller, Brooks was a senior VP in Weber Shandwick’s global technology and media relations practices. Before that, she was a senior VP in Weber Shandwick’s global technology and media relations practices.

Richard Funess, Finn Partners senior managing partner, said he welcomed Brooks' addition to the firm.  “Technology crosses over and is integrated into virtually every business strategy. And, through that evolution, it has become our largest practice area. Jodi’s transformative way of thinking and move-to-action style will have a major impact on our team of communications experts as well as the way Finn’s market perception and further opportunities.”
