NEW YORK — Prosek Partners has hired Jon Schwartz as head of the firm’s new sports business practice.

In the managing director role, Schwartz will help owners, operators, athletes, leagues, sanctioning bodies and sponsors leverage public relations and marketing to drive business.

Schwartz comes to Prosek with nearly 30 years of experience in sports, finance, and related areas. Most recently Schwartz was with the Big Ten Conference, where he served as senior VP of communications, marketing, digital and social. Previously, he held senior roles with the NFL, NASCAR and Bank of America, where he focused on the bank’s sports sponsorship portfolio.
