WALTHAM, MA — InkHouse has opened a new office in Seattle, which will be helmed by former Edelman leader Kate Riley.
As executive VP and general manager, Riley will oversee InkHouse business across the Pacific Northwest, the bulk of which comes from the tech, consumer and healthcare sectors. The Boston-area firm has offices in New York and San Francisco as well.
Riley joins from Edelman Seattle, where she spent roughly eight years as a senior VP working with clients such as Adobe, Microsoft Xbox and Qualtrix. Before that, she was at Outcast Agency working with Facebook, VMWare and others.
“A thriving entrepreneur and startup community with many of its roots in companies like Amazon, Boeing, Microsoft, Nordstrom and Starbucks, has helped Seattle join San Francisco, New York and Boston as an epicenter of innovation,” said Jason Morris, president of InkHouse. “Kate brings tremendous experience leading integrated PR campaigns for market leaders and innovators and, more importantly, shares our belief that a great workplace and culture is the key to outstanding client service. We feel fortunate to have found a people-driven leader like Kate to help InkHouse expand its footprint in the US.”
The independent agency currently has more than 120 employees across its four offices. The firm’s current client roster includes Aerion Supersonic, Eaze, Hyperproof and Nutanix.
