LONDON— UK pub operator and brewery Marstons has handed its financial PR business to Instinctif Partners.

The UK-listed company, which employs around 12,000 people across the country, has tasked Instinctif with providing investor relations advice and support.

Marstons operates around 2,000 pubs and bars. Its portfolio of beer brands includes Marston's Pedigree, Hobgoblin, Banks's, Jennings, Wychwood, Ringwood, Brakspear and Mansfield.

"We have known the team at  Instinctif Partners for some time and they are widely respected in our industry," said Marstons CEO Ralph Findlay.

"They understand our particular requirements and forward strategy well and  we believe they will be able to make a very positive contribution  to our communications with the media and wider investment and business audiences."

At Instinctif, the Marstons team will be led by the firm's capital markets CEO, Paul Downes.
