WASHINGTON —The Biden administration’s Adam Hodge has joined Bully Pulpit International as a managing director.

Hodge’s expertise and knowledge of economic and geopolitical issues will strengthen BPI’s strategic communications team in Washington, where he is based, and beyond, the firm said in announcing his appointment.

Hodge most recently served as a National Security Council spokesperson, where he led the Biden administration’s foreign policy communications operation through global crises and international engagements. During his time as the assistant U.S. trade representative for public affairs, he provided strategic counsel on policy, public engagement, and internal issues while leading the agency’s communications operation.

Before returning to public service, Hodge was the senior VP for external affairs at Ariel Investments, the largest minority-owned investment firm, having previously worked as deputy assistant secretary at the U.S. Treasury Department and in senior roles on Capitol Hill.
