NEW YORK—RF|Binder has strengthened its corporate responsibility practice with expanded expertise in reporting architecture and global standards by partnering with Susan Ellis, a 15-year veteran in the field of corporate responsibility and sustainability.
"Corporate responsibility has emerged as a critical component of business strategy in which corporations are held accountable not only to their shareholders, but also to a broader community of stakeholders, including customers, investors, employees, activist groups, and the media," says Amy Binder, CEO of RF|Binder Partners. "Corporate responsibility is especially vital for companies in the vertical markets in which RF|Binder has long-standing expertise, including food and beverage, financial services, automotive, healthcare and others."
The expanded practice will work with companies to develop fully integrated corporate responsibility strategies, including program development, communication strategy, brand alignment, messaging, reporting, media relations, thought leadership, targeted social media campaigns, non-profit and government partnership development and industry research.
Ellis, founder of Lilium Consulting, holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and is accredited by the California Air Resources Board as a Lead Verifier of Greenhouse Gas Emissions Data Reports. She has worked with clients on sustainability reporting as well as action plans and materiality assessments, developing environmental management systems, and developing and verifying greenhouse gas inventories.
