SHANGHAI — Ruder Finn has made a series of leadership appointments across Greater China, Singapore and Malaysia, including new office heads to replace departed executives.

In Hong Kong, the firm has hired former WE VP Winnie Lai (pictured) as GM, following the departure of Paul Yang, who also oversaw the firm's critical automotive practice for Greater China. The latter role has now been assumed by Will Yuan in Beijing, who was previously GM at Genedigi Group.

In Singapore, meanwhile, Brian Witte has been promoted to deputy GM after the exit of GM Poh Leng Yu. Witte had led the firm’s corporate and technology practice since 2014.

There is also new leadership in Malaysia, where Elya Eusoff joins as GM from Bonsey Jaden, where he was director of digital PR. Eusoff succeeds Archana Menon, who left Ruder Finn earlier this year after almost three years with the firm.

And there are two more promotions in Greater China. Gao Ming is promoted to SVP and MD of the firm's other major Greater China sector — luxury — after previously leading the function for mainland China alone. Similarly, Long Xi's role as leader of Ruder Finn's fast-growing integrated marketing practice expands to Greater China, after she launched the China division in 2017.

"At Ruder Finn, our business goal is simple: we help our clients engage with those vital to their business success through compelling communications counsel," said Ruder Finn Asia regional director Elan Shou in a statement.
