MILPITAS, CA — SanDisk has consolidated its enterprise business in the US with Voce/Porter Novelli with additional assignments for the firm in other markets.

SanDisk PR head Michael Diamond said after conducting a “comprehensive” review involving a number of agencies, the company is now solely represented by Porter Novelli in the US. The assignment also includes new commercial programs in the UK, France, Germany, China and India.

SanDisk’s enterprise PR incumbent McGrath-Power and Fusion-io’s agency Text100 both declined to re-pitch the business

“We were all very impressed by the approach Porter took toward the review, interviewing dozens of CIOs and members of the media across continents to help inform their programs,” Diamond said. The presentation included, not only the use of traditional media relations, but also content creation and digital and hybrid media.

The review came on the back of SanDisk completing a $1.1 billion acquisition of the publicly-traded Fusion-io to build out its enterprise play around PCIe hardware and software.

SanDisk has employed a "best in market" approach for its other global needs.
