SINGAPORE—Nissan global marketing communications chief Simon Sproule has joined the lineup for the Holmes Report's ThinkTank Live conference in Singapore, on 3 November.

Also joining the star-studded roster of speakers are BT's Asia-Pacific communications head Carson Dalton and Genesis Burson-Marsteller CEO Prema Sagar, who will sit on a panel that explores the challenges facing Indian brands expanding overseas.

Held in conjunction with the first Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards dinner on November 3, the conference will focus on the challenges facing Asia-Pacific brands as they go global and will feature a stellar lineup of speakers including global public relations agency leaders Tim Sutton of Weber Shandwick and Bob Pickard of Burson-Marsteller, Ogilvy PR's Thomas Crampton, and Japan expert Melanie Brock.

Sproule, is corporate VP, global marketing communications for Nissan Motor Company, a position he has held since October 2010. He is responsible for the design and implementation of global marketing and corporate communications strategies, brand communications, motor shows, sponsorship, motorsport, corporate social responsibility and internal communications for Nissan worldwide. Since September 2009, Sproule has also held the position of Renault Nissan Alliance communication director.

It was in this role that he was awarded, the ‘Young PR Professional of the Year’ in 2008 at the Asia Pacific PR Awards. He then moved to BT’s press office in London where he managed corporate media relations and held the comms mandate for corporate responsibility and climate change across BT Group. After his press office stint, he moved to Singapore in September 2010 to manage external comms for the region at a time when BT committed its largest investment outside of the UK to Asia Pacific.

Sagar is principal and founder of Genesis Burson-Marsteller, India. In 2008, Genesis B-M was ranked as 'India Consultancy of the Year' by The Holmes Report, acknowledging Sagar’s success in nurturing reputation whilst managing complex issues in a business environment rife with inherent contradictions.
