WASHINGTON — Maxwell Nunes has joined SKDK as an executive VP and head of paid digital.

Nunes is charged with enhancing the Stagwell firm’s digital capabilities for political, corporate and non-profit clients. He will lead SKDK's digital team, whose 2022 efforts included supporting the campaigns of Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and US Sen. Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire.

Nunes brings more than a decade of experience in digital strategy and managing media budgets exceeding $100 million.

Recent roles include serving as director of paid media for Pete Buttigieg’s 2020 presidential campaign, as which he built the in-house team and oversaw online acquisition, persuasion, and mobilization efforts. Since that time, Nunes has co-led his own advertising and digital media firm.
