WASHINGTON — BCW has hired industry veteran Jeff Joseph as president of its Washington office

Joseph will be responsible for business growth, client satisfaction and talent management in the market. He succeeds Michael Fleisher, who is leaving the agency for an unnamed position elsewhere.

Joseph brings roughly 30 years of experience working in Washington, including roughly two decades of senior leadership roles at trade associations.

For the last three years, Joseph has served as president of the Software & Information Industry Association, overseeing the organization’s operations and business activity. He previously served as senior VP of communications and strategic partnership with the Consumer Technology Association, VP of communications with Biotechnology Industry Association, and VP of communications and strategic relationships with the Consumer Electronic Association.

"Jeff is a world-class strategist, with nearly 30 years in Washington and considerable experience across every aspect of strategic communications, with a distinguished track record representing businesses across a wide variety of industries,” said BCW North America President Mary Corcoran, to whom Joseph reports. “Not only has he developed and implemented programs that solve complex business issues with deep insights and fresh ideas, but he also has substantial operational and financial acumen.  Jeff is also deeply committed to building diverse, representative teams and leading an environment in which talent can thrive. He is the perfect choice to helm and grow our renowned Washington, DC business.”
