GURUGRAM, INDIA — Healthcare agency SPAG has joined forces with two other firms — D Yellow Elephant and Giga Life — to operate under a new umbrella organization, called Strategic Partners Group.

In announcing the launch, Strategic Partners Group said the three agencies will bring different expertise and capabilities to the new company. SPAG is an integrated communications agency with public relations, public affairs and advocacy offerings; D Yellow Elephant is a digital and social media firm; and Giga Life brings expertise in crafting creative solutions to client needs.

The new group, which serves the Asia-Pacific region, will have a focus on healthcare, as has SPAG.

The company said the merger is in response to new demands on the communications industry, particularly the growing desire among clients to work with agencies that can provide the full range of communications services.

“Integrated as a group, yet specialists at core, our vision is to apply our tested approach from the journey towards specialising in the healthcare sector, to further diversify our specialisation into other sectors,” said co-founder Aman Gupta.

“Our ability to balance agility with scale, our learning and ambitious spirit of aligning globally while continuing to grow in key Asia Pacific markets, has helped us come so far. Encompassing all our brands under Strategic Partners Group, will help us achieve the larger objective of integrated communications in life sciences.”
