NEW YORK — Adam Grossberg has joined Spotify as the music streaming platform’s global head of corporate communications and reputation.

“Having the opportunity to turn a lifelong passion into a career is truly a dream come true,” Grossberg said in a LinkedIn post announcing his position.

Grossberg joins from Clear, where he spent a year-plus leading the security clearance company’s corporate communications as VP.  Before that, Grossberg was WebMD’s chief communications officer, and held senior leadership roles at Bausch + Lomb and Yahoo and EMI.

Grossberg joins a team led by Dustee Jenkins, who joined Spotify ahead of its IPO to lead global communications and public relations in 2017 after seven years as Target’s CCO. Neither Grossberg nor Jenkins responded to request for comment.

Earlier this month, the platform reported growth in users during Q4 2019, but with lower-than-expected revenue.
