NEW YORK — UK-based Student Beans — a student discount app that’s expanding into the US — has handed its US PR business to Manifest.

Manifest was named Student Beans’ first US PR agency of record following a competitive review. Wolfenden handles the company’s PR in the UK.

Manifest is charged with handling Student Bean’s consumer PR and SEO program, which are part of the company’s effort to build its US business following a successful soft launch. The agency's remit includes creating and executing campaigns that boost brand awareness and support Student Beans’ customer acquisition strategy.

Student Beans' push into the US comes roughly 16 years after brothers James and Michael Eder launched the app in 2005. Today the company partners with more than 1,000 brands across fashion, technology, entertainment and more, and has users in more than 150 countries.
