BRUSSELS — Teneo Holdings has acquired Brussels public affairs firm Cabinet DN, taking its global headcount to more than 600 employees.

Founded in 2005, Cabinet DN adds 35 employees to Teneo's operations, and will be combined with the latter's existing Brussels operation.

Cabinet DN founders Jacob Lund Nielsen (managing partner) and Timme Bertolt Døssing (partner) as well as Deborah Nash (partner) and Mario Filipponi (partner), will continue in their leadership roles of the business, reporting to Charles Watson, chairman of Teneo International.

“With this announcement, we further strengthen our capabilities in Brussels and across Europe,” said Declan Kelly, Chairman and CEO of Teneo. “Brussels and the broader European Union is a critical market for many multinational corporations; the acquisition of Cabinet DN allows us to continue to offer our clients best-in-class expertise and capabilities in a market of critical importance and at a time of heightened volatility."

The deal follows Teneo's recent acquisition of Hong Kong firm Ryan Communication. Teneo has now completed 7 acquisitions since the firm was founded in 2011. The firm is backed by investment from private equity house BC Partners.
