NEW YORK — Content moderation platform WebPurify has appointed Diffusion as its PR agency of record.

Diffusion won the business following a competitive review. There was no incumbent agency.

Diffusion is charged with establishing the company as a resource for moderating content including text, images, video and audio.

Diffusion will use key trends and system data to position WebPurify as a market -eading UGC moderation tool that combines AI and human UGC moderation technologies to protect business and consumers from cyberattacks.

Diffusion will use a targeted media relations approach to bolster WebPurify’s participation in pertinent conversations.  Organizations such as PBS, Microsoft, AllState and LegalZoom currently use WebPurify's service.

“Brands and platforms are being held more and more accountable for the content that is openly available to potentially vulnerable consumers surfing the web, even if it’s coming from other users,” Diffusion president Ivan Ristic said. “With new content platforms evolving before our eyes, it’s a critical time for businesses to prioritize protection and comply with evolving government regulation. As the industry leader in moderation, WebPurify, is offering exactly what brands need to keep content safe and engaging for all audiences that may come across it.”
