SAN FRANCISCO — AxiCom has expanded its global leadership team with new global digital, analytics and research, and client services heads.

Brian Snyder, who was most recently a Golin executive VP, has been named the BCW tech agency’s global president of digital. Chicago-based Snyder is charged with strengthening AxiCom’s digital teams around the world, as well as counseling key clients and building agency offerings and capabilities.

During his decade at Golin, where he most recently led digital across North America, he built and led digital teams in offices across the region while creating digital, mobile, and social strategies and campaigns for clients including Nintendo, Walmart, Samsung, and LinkedIn.

Shannon Lawler has joined AxiCom as senior VP of analytics and research, bringing more than a dozen years of experience in the field. Based in Portland, Oregon, Lawler will be responsible for developing and leading the research and analytics capability at AxiCom, generating insights to inform branding and reputation management strategies, analyzing media landscapes, industry trends, competitive positioning and audience behaviors, and evaluating the impact of communications campaigns.

Lawler joins from FleishmanHillard, where she served as a VP of research. Before that, she as associated director of analytics & data science at Wunderman Thompson.

In addition, Nick Head has been promoted to global head of client services. He will be responsible for global client relationship development and will work cross-functionally across AxiCom’s client service teams and capabilities to drive business and brand transformation for clients.

Head most recently served as AxiCom’s European managing director. He has worked at the agency twice for a total of roughly eight years.

“As the media ecosystem continues to evolve, we know that technology decision-makers don’t just read technology trade magazines any longer,” said global CEO Matt Lackie. “They seek advice from their peers, live stream sports, and get recipes from TikTok, so it’s critical that we deliver campaigns that connect to audiences where they are. We’re putting people, data, and technology at the heart of everything we do. Brian, Shannon, and Nick each bring a unique skillset that supports our global growth and enables us to build on momentum empowering our teams around the world to do their best work.”

The hires come roughly five months after Lackie, who had been Golin’s tech practice leader, joined AxiCom as its global CEO as part of the restructuring of the agency’s global leadership team.
