ALEXANDRIA, VA — The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization has tapped industry veteran Caleb Tiller to serve as its marketing and communications leader.

In the newly created VP role, Tiller will oversee NHPCO’s marketing, communications, and membership functions. NHPCO is the country’s largest organization representing palliative and hospice care providers.

With roughly two decades of experience, Tiller joins NHPCO after three years with EngenderHealth, where he served as VP of global communications and marketing.

Before that, he spent roughly eight years directing the UN Foundation’s communications team, playing a lead role in range of initiatives including journalist trainings on sustainable development, the Social Good Summit, the SXSW Social Good Hub, and #GivingTuesday.

“Joining NHPCO is an opportunity for me to work with an incredible staff and leadership team to support a community of organizations across the country who every single day make a difference in people’s lives at the most critical times,” Tiller said.

"Hospice and palliative care providers deserve the best possible support organization to keep them updated on regulatory and industry changes, to advocate for their priorities, and to help them learn and grow. NHPCO is that organization. I’m excited to join the team, and I look forward to working alongside hospice and palliative professionals to ensure the community has everything it needs to continue focusing on helping patients, their families, and their communities,” he said.
