LONDON — London's Citizen Relations has been named the first global PR and creative lead partner for Mokeskine, the Milan-based stationery and accessories brand.

The PR and integrated comms agency is tasked with leading the business from its base in London working with its worldwide network to create and deliver global influencer-led strategies to showcase Moleskin's wide range of products including notebooks, calendars and phone cases.

In particular, the assignment will focus on the company's Moleskine+ range, a notebook that works with a smart pen and an app to digitize notes made on paper.

"In a digital age, we are excited to work with such a beloved and globally recognized brand steeped in creative thoughts," said Mark Cater, managing director EMEA/APAC at Citizen Relations.

The stationery line joins other Citizen London clients including Procter & Gamble, Rocky Mountaineer, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Medtronic. Citizen has nine offices around the world, including New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Montreal, London and Singapore.

In Late 2014 Chinese PR giant BlueFocus Communications Group acquired Citizen and its parent company Vision7. Citizen Relations' global fee income clocked in at over $30m in 2016
