LONDON — Treasury Wine Estates has appointed strategic communications and influencer agency Halpern, to manage consumer PR strategy for the Cali by Snoop wine brand in the UK. US rapper Snoop Dogg and Treasury Wine Estates launched the Cali by Snoop brand to the UK market in 2022. Halpern has begun working on a strategic communications plan with ‘disruptive creative activations’, as well as influencer partnerships, focused on the Cali Red wine (pictured), with plans to extend the brand portfolio this year.

LONDON — Pram and parenting brand Silver Cross has appointed Journey Further as its integrated agency, after a five-way competitive pitch. The agency has been charged with increasing brand awareness and long-term growth to establish Silver Cross as the brand of choice for a new generation of parents, via digital strategy, creative, PR, social, programmatic and influencer marketing. The agency will focus on the UK market before expanding its brief internationally. The agency’s first project was a press and influencer event to promote the launch of a new collection, Rise by Tinie, in collaboration with rapper Tinie Tempah.

DUBLIN — Wilson Sporting Goods has selected Hopscotch Europe to handle PR activities in seven European markets: the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium and Sweden. The agency has been working with the sports manufacturer on projects since 2016, before winning the EMEA account in a competitive pitch. Hopscotch Europe will provide PR support and consultancy for the brand at regional and country management levels, working with Wilson’s partners and racket and team sporting events including Roland-Garros, Premier Padel, Super Bowl and the NBA.

LONDON — Analytics start-up Permutable AI, which uses artificial intelligence to track the environment and governance claims of publicly-traded companies, has appointed Humankind Comms to raise awareness of its services to investors and ESG analysts. Humankind Comms, which specialises in working with clients such as Formula E and Newton Europe on sustainability and social causes, is the corporate and B2B sister company to B-Corp consumer agency Fanclub PR.

LONDON — Independent communications agency Eulogy has been appointed to manage UK PR and communications for European mobility app Free Now, after a competitive pitch. Eulogy will work on B2B and B2C PR activity, building awareness among key audiences of drivers, passengers and transport industry partners and peers.

LONDON — Plant-based food brand Gosh! has appointed Kindred as its communications agency for its 2023 summer campaign and press office. The ‘positive change’ agency has been briefed to develop and deliver PR activity that drives awareness of the brand and its range of main meal and snack products. Kindred’s first campaign was a collaboration with broadcaster Vanessa Feltz.

LONDON — Team Lewis has been appointed to handle a series of projects by Dutch lifestyle brand Stoov, which produces infrared heated products for indoor and outdoor spaces. The agency is tasked with launching Stoov’s range to consumers, focusing on media and influencer relations and events, with a longer-term brief to reach B2B and hospitality audiences. The engagement comes after Team Lewis handled the UK brand launch last autumn, and the launch of the Woov range of heated dog beds earlier this year.

LONDON — B2B technology marketing and PR specialist Fox Agency has been appointed by automotive manufacturer Phinia to handle its launch as an independent company after the completion of its spin-off from BorgWarner, including its debut on the New York Stock Exchange earlier this month. Phinia makes fuel systems, electrical systems and aftermarket solutions for global automotive, commercial vehicle, off-highway and industrial markets, as well as working on alternative fuels. Fox Agency has been appointed to handle the global brand roll-out, including creation of brand assets, collateral, brand videos and social content, as well as internal communications for 12,900 employees across 44 locations in 20 countries.

LONDON — Wild Card has been appointed by independent luxury UK hotel group Kaleidoscope Collection, which includes Bishopstrow, Homewood, and The Bird in Bath, after a competitive pitch. The agency’s brief is to deliver creative and strategic campaigns to build each hotel brand and drive bookings.

LONDON — The Flywheelers, which works with high-growth startups and scaleups, has been selected as the marketing and communications partner of record by Inevidesk, the virtual desktop infrastructure designed for the architectural, engineering and construction industry. The agency has been brought on to support Inevidesk’s next phase of growth as it focuses on raising brand awareness and credibility, including developing brand narrative and messaging, alongside media relations, owned and social content development, and an awards programme.

ABERDEEN —  HonuWorx, a remote robotics company focused on subsea operations, has appointed specialist B2B technology PR and content agency Roaring Mouse to help support strategic communications as the company moves to its next round of fundraising. Based in Aberdeen, HonuWorx combines autonomous submarines, robotics, AI and advanced communications technologies to reduce the risk, cost and carbon footprint of subsea exploration and intervention. HonuWorx has tasked Roaring Mouse with establishing its reputation as a ‘SpaceX of Subsea’ among potential partners in the European defence, offshore energy and ‘blue economy’ sectors, as well as investors.
