MUNICH — Global independent agency Finn Partners has hired Ulrica Griffiths as its new Germany lead, as it seeks to expand its presence in the German and central European market.

Griffiths (pictured) has spent the past 20 years at the helm of Munich-based communications firm Griffiths Consulting, which worked with consumer and B2B clients and was the exclusive Germany partner in the IPR Team global agency network.

Before founding the company, she was Lego’s head of PR for central Europe, and was also head of PR for Mattel Interactive in Germany.

In her new role as senior partner and managing director in Germany, Griffiths will have responsibility for Finn’s Munich and Frankfurt offices. The agency has had an office in Munich since 2014, and has had a presence in Frankfurt since 2017, when it acquired B2B firm ABI Marketing Public Relations, which also had an office in Singapore.

The agency's previous lead in Germany was Oliver Fischer, who has departed after nearly 14 years.

Finn Partners EMEA managing partner Chantal Bowman-Boyles said: “Ulrica's vast and diverse experience is exactly what we've been searching for. She embodies the perfect blend of local knowledge, global perspective, and a forward-thinking approach. As we seek to expand our presence in Germany and Central Europe, there's no doubt that Ulrica is the right leader to guide our team.”

Bowman-Boyles said that while the focus was on building its teams in Munich and Frankfurt, and organic growth, the agency’s “track record in making successful acquisitions is well known, and if the right opportunities come up we’d be delighted to consider them.”

Griffiths added: “Joining Finn Partners marks a pivotal step in my professional journey. The firm's commitment to innovation and its global footprint align perfectly with my vision. I am eager to bring my unique blend of expertise to the table, aiming to bolster Finn Partners' footprint in the German market.”
