PARIS — Hill+Knowlton Strategies has appointed Valérie Lecasble as the new managing director of its Paris office.

A former journalist, Lecasble was until recently the director of the Defense Information and Communication Delegation (DICoD) and spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense. She has also served as managing director of French news channel I-Télé and vice president of TBWA Corporate.

Lecasble replaces Corinne Got-Camard, who had been with the agency for 14 years and has left to pursue other opportunities. H+K thanked Got-Camard for everything she had achieved over her years with the firm.

H+K global president Lars-Erik Grønntun said: “We are looking forward to leveraging Valérie's considerable expertise to help our clients better communicate with their public. Valérie will be a great leader for our Paris office, which holds a special place in our international network.”

Lecasble added: "Hill+Knowlton Strategies has a great reputation in France, and its global reach appealed to me. I look forward to bringing my energy, my expertise and my network.”
