LONDON — Hotwire has promoted Emma Hazan into the newly created role of global head of consumer.
She will report to group COO Alex MacLaverty who took on the role in June, 2017. Hazan is tasked with growing Hotwire's consumer business globally while driving greater awareness of its global consumer footprint. She will work with the agency's consumer teams in EMEA and the US to drive new business, and will also provide senior strategic support to Hotwire's accounts including HomeAway, SpareRoom, Deliveroo, Tinder, eBay and Twitter.
"Emma has an incredible track record in creating and delivering award winning consumer campaigns and has been instrumental in bringing in some of the hottest brands in the last year. We're excited to now have her leading consumer globally as we look to increase our consumer footprint across all our markets," said MacLaverty.
Hazan's promotion comes after 12 years with Hotwire. Prior to the new role, she served as managing director, consumer for nearly a year focusing on growing the agency's consumer portfolio across its global offices and driving campaigns. Before that, Hazan spent five years as deputy managing director overseeing both the consumer and media marketing practices in the UK office. Prior to Hotwire, Hazan spent five years as managing director at Skywrite Communications.
