SINGAPORE — Lenovo has named Stephanie Yu as the company's new Asia-Pacific communications head, following the departure of Genevieve Hilton earlier this year.
Yu joins the technology giant from MSD, where she spent almost five years, most recently as global communications lead for Asia-Pacific.
At Lenovo, she reports to CMO Bhaskar Choudhuri, and serves as strategic advisor to the company's Asia-Pacific leadership team. Yu's position involves integrated communications across paid, earned, owned channels including thought leadership, executive comms, employee comms and advocacy, product comms, crisis and issues management, events, ESG comms, and social media.
Lenovo’s Asia-Pacific region includes India, Japan, Australia, Southeast Asia, Korea and Taiwan.
Prior to MSD, Yu spent eight years with Weber Shandwick in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai, focusing on senior roles in the corporate and health practices. She also worked at Edelman and FleishmanHillard in China and Golin Taiwan.
