Two more senior corporate communications professionals—representing two of the world’s most distinguished companies—have joined the judging panel for our 2011 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards. Meenu Handa, director of corporate communications for Microsoft in India, brings more than 20 years of experience in the field, having worked with clients ranging from Boeing to Swatch Group to Citibank to Nokia, with expertise in corporate strategy, public affairs, media strategy, crisis communications and marketing communications. In her current position, she is responsible for both internal and external communication, including analyst relations, and for an integrated corporate citizenship and influencer relationship program, which has helped Microsoft gain recognition as one of the top employers in India and its most respected companies. Prior to Microsoft, she was a vice president at  IPAN, one of India’s leading PR agencies. Erik Jonnaert is currently Procter & Gamble’s vice president and general manager of external relations for Asia and a member of the P&G Asia management committee. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for shaping and directing P&G’s stakeholder relations, including media relations, government relations and regulatory and technical relations, corporate reputation strategies and  brand public relations programs covering Greater China, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Australia/New Zealand, ASEAN and India. Prior to taking up this position in 2008, Jonnaert was vice president and general manager external relations of P&G Western Europe and a member of the supervisory board of Wella AG. He has been with P&G for more than 25 years.
