LONDON — Golin has been appointed by online car marketplace Heycar as its retained consumer brand PR agency, after a competitive pitch.

The agency’s brief includes creative brand campaigns and press office for the firm, which launched to the UK market in 2019, backed by Volkswagen Financial Services and Daimler Mobility. Frank was Heycar’s corporate and consumer agency for the launch.

Heycar head of brand marketing and engagement Charlotte Ford said: “We have ambitious plans for growing our brand awareness by the end of 2022, starting with an exciting new ATL campaign launching in April. We were looking for a PR partner that could take that journey with us and help us build relevance among consumers.
