HONG KONG — Paradigm Consulting has expanded its senior leadership team with the addition of two longtime industry leaders — Vivian Lines and Rachel Chan.

Lines brings experience to his executive director role gleaned during a 35-year career at Hill+Knowlton Strategies. Lines capped his time at H+K serving as global vice chairman. He also served as APAC chairman, global head of practices and co-head of client services during his time with the firm. Lines has been running his own consultancy since 2020.

Chan also brings three decades of experience to Paradigm. For more than seven years, she led Asia-Pacific communications for Alibaba Group, overseeing the company’s brand building, media and corporate comms. Before that, Chan was H+K’s Hong Kong managing director.

Paradigm co-founders Helen Lam and Tim Nicholls (pictured) said Lines and Chan have been hired to support an increased workload from new client wins, as well as to develop services and further international expansion.

The nine-year-old firm, based in Hong Kong, has a team of 20 advisors located in Shanghai, London and Singapore as well as well as its home base.

The company has a range of corporate clients including international blue chips compaies, local Hong Kong institutions and expanding mainland Chinese companies. HSBC, Alibaba, EY, FWD, Generali, HKGCC, HKIB, Squarefoot, China Mobile, iClick and Xiao-I are among the companies on Paradigm’s roster.
