MEXICO CITY—Omnicom-owned Porter Novelli and Hill+Knowlton’s Latin American network The Jeffrey Group have each received 14 nominations for this year’s Latin American SABRE Awards, more than any other agencies.

The two agencies finished just ahead of Latin American network Sherlock Communications, with 13 finalists in this year’s competition, and Edelman, with 12. Other firms to receive multiple nominations include another regional network, Latam Intersect (nine); BCW, LLYC and Orange Latam (six); and Atrevia and CCK (five).

The 2023 SABRE Awards Latin America will take place in Mexico on October 11 as part of the Mexican PRORP's annual RADICAL conference. The event will take place at The Troop in Mexico City.

“The quality of the work reviewed by our Latin American SABRE judges this year was exceptional,” says Paul Holmes, who chaired the SABRE judges. “Once again, the region’s public relations community has shown the ability to create work that is eye-catching and effective, harnessing digital and social media along with more traditional tools and creating compelling content.”

Last year, the Platinum Award in the Global SABRE Awards—which recognize the best public relations programming from around the world—went to a campaign from Latin America: “Morning After Island” by Ogilvy Honduras.

The winners of this year’s Latin American SABREs will be announced at this year’s event in Mexico City. Tickets are available via PRORP.
