PARIS — B2B technology PR and marketing agency Red Lorry Yellow Lorry has opened its first French office and appointed a European director to expand its operations in Europe.

Hélène Joubert was previously at Ballou in Paris for nearly six years, latterly as deputy general manager, and has worked with  B2B technology clients including Epson-Seiko, Cornerstone On Demand, RedHat, Jive and Expedia.

Joubert will work closely with the agency’s UK director Hannah Patel and US director Meredith Eaton to manage client services and drive growth across Europe. The new team in Paris will supplementing the agency’s existing bases in London, Berlin, Boston and Los Angeles.

Red Lorry Yellow Lorry CEO Guy Walsingham said: “France is becoming an increasingly important market for our clients. We’ve seen a significant uptick in engagement in the country over the last few months, which is testament to the hard work of our teams in such challenging times.”

He added: “We pride ourselves on attracting quality talent and Hélène certainly fits that description. Having a senior local person in France will bolster our sector specialist teams and help maintain our recent momentum.”

Joubert said: “The lorries have showcased their strengths by rising to the challenge of maintaining growth despite the turbulent events of 2020. On top of that, the agency is continuing to invest in the future with European development plans, so we’ve got an exciting journey ahead of us.”

As the office opens, the agency has picked up a new French client in the form of Cubik Partners, a Paris-based consulting and training firm, for which the agency will implement an integrated media relations campaign focused on local case studies and building the profile of the firm’s spokespeople.

This expansion follows a period of growth for Red Lorry Yellow Lorry’s agency network Convoy, which now includes more than 30 partners in 50 countries.
