KUALA LUMPUR — Ruder Finn has acquired Malaysian firm Pandan Social, extending its digital capabilities in the region.

Founded in 2018 by Daniel Woodroof (pictured, left) and Brandon Lee (pictured, right), Pandan Social adds 14 digital specialists to the RFI Asia digital operation, which is led by Ruder Finn MD David Ko.

The deal is the latest in a series of acquisitions that Ruder Finn has made at a global level in recent years, but the agency's first in Asia for some time.

"Our aim is not just to adopt the latest trends but to be the trendsetters in the digital marketing space," said Ruder Finn Asia president Elan Shou, who is also the firm's global chief growth officer. "By harnessing the creative energies and expertise of both our teams, we are set to redefine the standards of digital marketing and communications, offering unprecedented value to our clients and setting a new benchmark for our competitors."

Pandan Social's capabilities include social media management, web production, graphics, video production, and influencer marketing. "This partnership will empower us to amplify our expertise and deliver even more impactful digital marketing solutions to our clients," said Woodroof.
