Lena Goh will be honoured with the Individual Achievement SABRE Award on 27 September 2023, at the Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards in Singapore.

Goh is MD of public affairs with Temasek, overseeing brand building, issues and reputation management for the Singapore-headquartered investment company.

She has more than 20 years of brand marketing, corporate communications and issues management experience working across the public sector, global telecommunications and technology companies such as Microsoft, Motorola and SingTel.

Prior to Temasek, Goh was with the Government Technology Agency (GovTech) and also the Info-communications Development Authority (IDA) of Singapore as chief marketing and communications officer. In this role, she led the agency’s brand communication efforts to brand Singapore as a Smart Nation and in educating the public and the public sector about the government’s digital transformation journey.

"[Lena's] enthusiasm and passion for creative story telling, her commitment to nurture talent, backed by strong foundations in ethics and principles; these characteristics are and remain a hallmark of how she works," said Stephen Forshaw, who hired Goh at Temasek after previously working with her at Microsoft. "She has strong domain knowledge backed by years of experience in public relations and communications across consumer, corporate, crisis, media relations, social and digital, and good planning, staffing and resource allocation."

"She has a unique ability to navigate complex issues and structures with an intention to deliver outcomes to her internal customers," added Forshaw, who is currently Airbus' chief representative for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. "She empowers staff, nurtures them so they grow, is confident being challenged, defends her teams, sets high standards, earns trust, has and demands integrity, and through it all, remains a thoroughly decent, grounded, humble person."
