MIAMI — Allison+Partners is expanding its presence in Latin America through a partnership with Stagwell affiliate Grupo Garnier, whose offices in eight markets will assume the Allison+Partners name.

Miami GM David Baum and business development director Tomás Saiz will oversee a joint A+P and Grupo Garnier team that will work with North American brands entering Latin America and the US Hispanic market.

The partnership pairs Grupo Garnier’s team of 150 PR specialists across Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Honduras, Ecuador, Peru and Mexico with Allison+Partners’ network operating in 32 markets globally. The alliance will boost A+P’s capabilities including PR, digital marketing and content marketing to Latin American and US clients.

A+P parent company Stagwell will retain its own partnership with Grupo Garnier under the global affiliates program launched earlier this year.

The move follows  A+P opening its Miami office in June, at which time global chairman Scott Allison said having a South Florida base puts the firm in a good position to expand its Latin America footprint.

“When we launched the Allison+Partners Miami office, we always understood that it has to serve as the gateway to Latin America and an international business hub to make a lasting impact. We have taken a giant step towards our goals through this partnership,” Baum said. “I’m excited to work alongside Tomás and all of our new A+P colleagues as we continue to scale globally.”
