LONDON — Social media and influencer marketing agency Coolr has hired Daniel Fox-Evans in the newly-created role of head of creative campaigns.

Fox-Evans joins from marketing agency Cowshed Collective, where he had been creative director for the past 18 months, and led creative for online fashion retailer ASOS.com from 2019 to 2021. He has also worked at Leo Burnett and We Are Social, and has worked on campaigns for brands including Samsung, Mercedes Benz, Milka and Vodafone.

Coolr founder Adam Clyne said: “Dan brings a wealth of social-first creativity and expertise and is a brilliant match for the work we do. He has been involved in some incredibly high profile activations, combining big creative thinking with the context of social culture. We’re looking forward to all he will bring to the Coolr party.”

Clyne added: “With Dan’s arrival we are now reshaping the way we think about creative at Coolr – with culture, community, editorial living with [head of editorial] James Parker and his team, and campaigns and activations living with Dan’s team. As we continue to grow this feels like the best way of ensuring our clients continue to win in the social space”.

On his new role, Fox-Evans said: “I’m excited to be joining Coolr, a place that brings together big ideas, speed and a deep-rooted understanding of culture to not only reach audiences but excite them. With some of the UK’s most exciting clients too, it’s a win-win.”

Coolr recently moved to new premises in London as part of a recent expansion plan that has seen the team grow to almost 70 people, including a growing team in Los Angeles, after expanding to the US last year.

The agency’s client roster includes Samsung – for which Coolr recently became the UK social media agency – Burger King, Doritos, Deliveroo, Walkers Crisps, Dreams, Trainline, Dolby and Lyft.
