DUBAI — Deloitte Digital, the global management consultancy’s creative digital arm, has hired Hussein Dajani as a partner in the Middle East region in its advertising, marketing and commerce division.

Dajani joins from Nissan, where he had been general manager of digital and customer experience transformation for Africa, the Middle East, India, Turkey and Oceania since 2017, and worked on initiatives including launching the #SheDrives platform in Saudi Arabia, after women were granted the right to drive in 2017.

He was previously chief digital and operating officer at UAE-based marketing and advertising agency Hug Digital, part of WPP, and has also worked in senior regional roles at advertising agencies Leo Burnett, JWT and TBWA, and in-house as Red Bull’s digital director for the Middle East and Africa, and head of online communities and communications for Virgin Mobile, overseeing the same region.

Dajani told PRovoke Media: “Deloitte Digital is an organization I have been eagerly looking forward to being part of for many years now. They define a new model that blends the strengths of agencies with traditional consultancies, by combining the creative and digital capabilities of their studios, and the broad reach of an advertising agency, with the technical experience, deep business strategy and relationships of the world’s largest consultancy. I am truly honored and privileged to become part of the Deloitte Digital ecosystem.”
