LONDON — Finsbury has hired Johanna Jokinen as a consulting partner in London to support its global employee and change communications practice and to work on mandates around corporate purpose.

The strategic communications consultancy recently merged with fellow corporate and financial firm Hering Schuppener and public affairs group Glover Park to form Finsbury Glover Hering.

Jokinen joins from BT Group, where she was global marketing and communications director and headed purpose-led sustainability and social and digital impact communications strategies.

Before BT, she worked in Nokia’s EMEA markets in various PR and press roles, before heading Nokia’s global sustainability communications and stakeholder engagement.

Finsbury managing partner James Murgatroyd said: “Johanna brings exceptional experience in employee communication, purpose and sustainability and is a strong addition to our growing global team. Johanna’s appointment underlines Finsbury’s commitment to employee engagement, change and purpose as key business levers for our clients.”

Jokinen added: “I’m excited to join to help Finsbury’s clients to do even better business by empowering their people and implementing strategies through a purpose lens, helping to build a more resilient future business.”
