LONDON — International PR agency Jukebox Media has appointed Alexandra Annable as head of strategy within its new technology and web3 division.

Jukebox, which was founded in 2008 by travel and music enthusiast Alex Jukes and operates from London, Ibiza, New York and Bangkok, specialises in PR for festivals, events, DJs, music artists and record labels. It expanded into technology and web3 last September in response to client demand.

Annable has led global communications strategies for technology brands and start-ups including T-Mobile, Microsoft, EA Games, Samsung, Socialbakers, Entrepreneur First and Accenture Song. She also spent time at Milk & Honey as associate director

Jukes said: “As we continue to work with more tech and web3 clients we’ve realised that we need to keep evolving and expanding our offering beyond traditional PR. We are focused on long term client partnerships where we grow with our clients, help them expand into new territories, support with fundraising, brand strategy and messaging. Alexandra’s extensive industry knowledge will prove invaluable in helping us do this.”

Annable added: “I’ve known Alex and his team for a number of years and have always been impressed by their creativity and passion. It’s rare to find a team that just gets on and does amazing work with some of the coolest and innovative music tech and web3 companies in the industry right now. I still believe, within tech at least, they are the industry’s best kept secret and I’m looking forward to building their profile as one of the top web3/ music tech agencies globally.”

Alongside Jukebox, Annable – a vocal advocate for mental health and neurodiversity – will continue her role as non-executive director in charge of communications, events and strategic partnerships at Techfugees, a non-profit supporting refugees and displaced persons set up by Techcrunch editor-at-large Mike Butcher. Techfugees recently appointed Manifest as its agency of record.

Jukebox has also launched a brand partnerships and sponsorship division, developing and delivering campaigns and activations for brands and events, as well as overseeing and securing sponsorship opportunities for events and festivals in the UK and beyond.

The agency now operates across festival and event PR, artist and label PR, brand partnerships, activations and sponsorship, web3 PR, strategy and community Management, event programming and social media and influencer marketing.

Jukebox’s influencer network The Tribes last year delivered more than 500 campaigns in promoting new music, festivals, artists, products and more to an audience of more than 30 million across over 60 channels. Its 70-strong network of TikTok creators, influencers and community driven pages led to 15 number one music chart hits.
