SINGAPORE — Lauren Myers-Cavanagh has expanded her role at Twitter after 12 months with the social networking platform.

Myers-Cavanagh has been elevated to Asia-Pacific director of communications, which will now include the policy communications function that she previously headed for Twitter in Asia-Pacific.

Larry Loh, who took charge of regional communications at Twitter in early 2020, has left the company.

Myers-Cavanagh reports to Kelly Sims, who joined Twitter as global VP of communications in August of this year. Sims replaced Brandon Borrman, who left Twitter in June after three-plus years as the platform's communication head.

Myers-Cavanagh arrived at Twitter in October 2020 after more than six years with Edelman, culminating in a Singapore-based position as director of communications and special projects.

Her elevation means that Twitter is currently recruiting for a policy communications head for the Asia-Pacific region.
