LONDON — Park Street Partners, the communications and business consultancy set up in March this year by former MHP and Newgate Communications chief executive Gavin Devine (pictured), has hired four more partners as it builds its international presence and content creation capabilities.

The consultancy now has 15 senior advisors and practitioners on the team, and its global reach has expanded to include Dublin, Warsaw, Bratislava, Prague and Budapest as well as London, Edinburgh and Birmingham.

Joining the roster in the UK are Chris Roberts and Paul Smith. Roberts spent more than 20 years as a senior reporter and presenter with ITN and Sky News and now helps organisations tell their stories through video content and media and presentation training. Smith also has a media background in the UK and the Middle East, and has been a tech start-up advisor, including to the Deputy Prime Minister.

Garrett Fennell, a senior lobbyist based in Dublin, has also joined Park Street Partners. His expertise is in advising clients on policy and regulatory challenges, especially around the interface between national and EU obligations, as well as supporting clients in securing backing for capital and infrastructure projects.

The final new addition to the team is Marek Matraszek, who founded Warsaw-based CEC in the early 1990s and went on to expand the public affairs consultancy across the central European region.

Devine said: “Our ethos is that teams should be built around clients, not agency structures; and that clients appreciate above all expert advice that is based on deep and practical knowledge of local markets, media and decision-makers. These new Partners add significantly to our ability to provide that advice across Europe.”
