SINGAPORE — Zeno has hired Swyn Evans as Singapore MD, filling the vacancy created by the departure of Allanjit Singh one year ago.

Evans joins from Omnicom PR Group, where she spent more than six years as SVP/partner and lead Southeast Asia consultant for financial services at FleishmanHillard. She will report to Zeno Asia-Pacific president Paul Mottram.

Around one-third of Zeno's 120-strong Asia-Pacific workforce is based in Singapore, making it the firm's biggest office in the region. David Lian, who served as interim leader of the Singapore business for the past year, resumes his position as Asia-Pacific growth and innovation MD, focusing on key regional initiatives and client relationships.

"Swyn’s business acumen and keen sense of culture will help elevate us to the next level, while expanding our regional management bench to encompass deep financial sector expertise," said Paul Mottram.

"I also want to thank David Lian and our entire Singapore team for driving the business forward strongly over the past 12 months. We are in a strong position to accomplish our future goals for our clients and people."

Evans' career also includes financial and corporate communications at FTI Consulting and Kreab Worldwide, in-house comms at a leading regional venture capital firm and managing legal affairs at the Attorney-General's Chambers of Singapore.

"As I begin the next chapter in my career, I’m excited to start working with this purposeful, entrepreneurial, capable and kind team," said Evans. I’m looking forward to supporting their unwavering commitment to be the first choice for both" the industry’s smartest people and most ambitious clients."
