The Philippines’ first and only behavioural design agency AHA! Behavioural Design, recently celebrated five years in business creating bespoke programs and tools for people, organisations and target segments. In its short lifespan the agency has picked up numerous awards, including the Quill Excellence Award for Corporate Social Responsibility for its work for financial services client Sun Life Foundation and the WHO Western Pacific Innovation Challenge for the Department of Health. Not long into its inception, the agency hired actor and communicator John Leinard Ramos as head for marketing and social & behaviour change communication. He joined from his previous role as senior associate for communication and visibility at the Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation, and before that he was executive assistant to the cabinet secretary for social marketing at the Department of Social Welfare and Development in the Philippines. He’s also found time to continue with his own creative pursuit, acting, and appeared in movies The Boy Foretold by the Stars and Livescream.
