At the world’s third largest think tank, Patricia Malavez heads up corporate comms, media relations, digital marketing campaign performance, social media, events, production and design, leading a team of 45. She joined in July 2021, after leading digital at Brazilian oil giant Petrobras which she moved to in 2019.
Here, she oversaw the implementation of Workplace from Facebook for 72,000 employees and contractors, led a multidisciplinary team of communications, IT and HR professionals, and headed up change management, leadership engagement and communication campaigns.
Prior to Petrobras, the former journalist spent more than a decade with Brazilian mining giant Vale, where she overhauled the digital strategy, including websites, social media, content marketing, data analysis, advertisement campaigns, development of mobile apps and games, VR videos, AI projects and internal strategy.
