 As the maker of an anti-viral drug effective against Covid-19, Gilead Sciences has been at the forefront of the global pandemic. According to one poll, remdesivir has even boosted the company’s reputation among the public. Even with the promise of remdesivir, the pandemic has provided some challenges for the pharma company. For one, sales fell 10% in Q2 because the coronavirus has diminished demand for some of its other drugs.
